The mystery of the 100 dogs

We are glad to hear that the owner of the Whistler company that allegedly had 100 dogs slaughtered to cut costs after the Winter Olympics will speak for the first time. The guy concerned, Joey Houssian, has come out and given his first sit-down interview since news of the killing of up to 100 dogs caused outrage and horror across the world. It will be interesting to hear Houssian’s version of events, who maintains that his company knew nothing about both the scale and the manner of this slaughter.

Understanding your sectionals

At long last my family have spent time looking at refurnishing our living room. The focal piece of this process is to take time to find the right sort of sofa. I have just bought a recliner just for myself, but I know want to add a sofa which is flexible enough to be designed into sectionals, and which makes a real statement as the center piece. By going the whole hog through the use of these awesome sectionals, I now have the complete flexibility to organize and tailor my new sofa to the exact shape of my room, it looks fantastic.

The pleasures of sofa recliners

Let’s face it sometimes it just great to be lazy especially in the comfort of your home. I seem to have forgotten the art of relaxing in my living room. So, I decided to get rid of the old couch and have a look at the most modern sofa recliners. And, wow, it’s a whole new world out there. Gliders, loveseats, push backs, rockers, swivel recliners, it’s opened up a whole new world of sofa recliners. Finally decided upon a power lift recliner and I love it.

IS THE BLACKBERRY THE NEW SMARTPHONE OF CHOICE FOR THE SAVVY TEENAGER?

Here at the Cute Memory team, we find that the best form of market research, and to get a real handle on what is going on out there, is to actually ask the people we work with day in day out. And these are usually young people who "live" technology far more then their adult counterparts.

So,....... despite the headline grabbing attentions the IPhone has generated throughout the latter half of last year, we actually find that the smartphone our teenagers are angling after is the Android based BLACKBERRY CURVE.

Indeed, this unsuspecting trend seems to follow what was happening in the USA last year, where, generally, the Android system outsold the its Apple counterpart.

So why might be making important observation ?- despite that Apple still seems to dominate our media headlines.

Firstly, the young people think the Blackberry is a very cool looking, status giving phone, which could be put alongside it's Apple rival.

Then there is COST!!! - You can presently get a Blackberry Cure handset free on contract - and then pay only between £10.00 and £15.00 per month for a whole bucket full of minutes and texts.

Finally, - no wonder rumour has it that Apple are about t to launch their kid brother to the IPhone, to be known as the IPhone Nano - It has been suggested that this will cost only £125.00 to purchase, and will Apple's attempt to stop this Android invasion in its tracks!!!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 100 DOGS?

As massive dog lovers ourselves, (we have 8 pooches here), we were horrified to hear of the slaughter of the 100 dogs by the outdoors adventure company in Canada. These working sled dogs were apparently tragically killed because there was a downturn in business.

Surely, the owner of this company, Joey Houssian has to come clean after remaining silent for so long by publically explaining these events which were described as an “execution” of the 100 dogs. Only then can we get to the bottom of such a tragic incident.

NO BLACK OPS PICNIC IS COMPLETE WITHOUT ONE...!!!!

All of our CUTE MEMORY team have children who like to regularly get together, play outdoor things, do fantastic picnics etc. Therefore, it was a real find when one of my colleagues brought along what is known as  CGEAR MULTIMAT to have our picnic on. Indeed, the mat itself became the focus of our kids attention for the whole afternoon.

Why was this so?? - So, there is nothing worse, in my experience, to get dirt and sand kicked onto your freshly laid towel or blanket when you are just getting settled on the beach or campsite/picnic area.

However, this newly acquired MULTIMAT had us all truly amazed when the grains of sand on it just simply disappeared like magic. So ..... where did they go?? According to the manufacturers from Australia, the mat is made of a special type of mesh which lets sands particles etc slip through it, but then importantly doesn't let them resurface.

Originally designed for the US Military in providing safe combat helicopter landing zones in sandy deserts etc., these mats have now been adapted for beach towels, campsite use, and outdoor picnic rugs - so - no more sand to kicked onto your rug to spoil your lovely sandwiches.

Check out these couple of videos to see these brilliant CGEAR MULTIMATS in action, as well as the science behind them

ONE MAN AND HIS INCREDIBLE JOURNEY TO WORK

I take the same 26 mile car journey to our offices everyday, come rain or shine - more snow and rain just recently. So...... how could I capture those images which visually explains to the world this daily mundane, but ultimately unique journey??? - the same roads but always different messages

Therefore, I have found the LIFE LOGGING FREE APP  DEEPVUE created by a guy called ALEX VALLI which lets the images I take from my car journey to tell a visual story. I already have a Flickr account, (which is great), but what DEEPVUE does is to provide GPS tracking reference to WHEN and WHERE the image was taken - In other words it provides a VISUAL INSIGHT into that 40 minute segment of my day when I am travelling/returning from work. And, the fascinating thing about using this APP - is that NO TWO WORK JOURNEY'S are ever the same!! Check it out at www.deepvue.com - it will quickly become your invisible companion for any visual journey.
